So, happy new year, my bitches. I know it's a little too late, but it has been a really long time since I last posted anything. I've been too busy with video games. I have no life.
So, this topic is something everyone lives with, but never really thinks about much. This topic is for the young people who are just really sick and tired of all this sheet. And no, I'm not going to talk about a cheesy topic like liberating all you youngsters. My post for today is going to get a lot of people offended -- hopefully.

In this world, people are biased, unfair, narrow-minded, stubborn, hard-headed, and stupid. In short, people are bigots. I don't really like using this term that much anymore because it sounds so slang to me. Actually, I think it really is slang, but it just sounds "masagwa". (Yes, that was a Filipino word... I think.)
I really hate bigotry (What makes bigots bigots). I hate authority and power. I hate that people think that they will always be right or that they will always be followed just because of a certain title or position they hold. I really hate it when people just throw away their sensibility and practicality just because they call the shots. I really hate it when people stop listening to others' views and opinions because they have already embedded on their minds that they are better than a few specific people.
Background story time:
Last week, we started going back to school after a Christmas vacation of two weeks. I had long hair because, well, I just came from a vacation. We were told to cut our hairs because long hair is against school policy (Bowl sheath!).
Last night, we went to a dinner and I barely had time to get my haircut, but luckily some guy in a barber shop was nice enough to give me a haircut even though they were already closing.
So I went back to school this morning and I got scolded for still having long hair. And the thing is that there is nothing wrong with my hair, for it follows school policy -- although barely. The sides are still a little above my ears and the back part of my hair is not touching the collar of my uniform (Yes, my school is bowl sheath).
But I still had to go to get confirmation from my head teacher because my adviser thought that my hair still looked long. So I went to my head teacher and this is what happened:
(Some things may have been rephrased or translated into English)
Me: Miss, is the haircut fine?
T: Barely looks at me from behind her shoulder
T: No, it is not. Do you not read the handbook?
M: Shrug
T: Shrug. What's that? Just put your diary on my table. I wouldn't want to argue anymore.
M: Puts diary on table.
I could have argued with her, but I knew that it was not going to get me anywhere. And I certainly did not know I was going to get a behavioral report (a slip you get if you do something they don't like which results in your final conduct grade going down a letter).
What I'm trying to get at is that she should have tried being reasonable and sensible first before issuing me a behavioral report. I mean, my hair is fine. I guess they all just really recognize me as having long hair. So unless I look like a complete dork with a hideous soldier haircut, I'll always be labeled as having long hair.
I admit that my hair isn't that short, but it's breaking any rules. God.
Alright, now back on the main topic. Bigotry.
Factors that mostly lead to bigotry are:
1. Age
2. Authority
3. Labels
4. Just plain attitude
5. Titles
6. Status (In society, etc.)
This is why I never respect anybody that I think does not deserve my respect. I think that it's bullshit whenever people tell me that I should automatically respect elders and teachers and authorities. Why should I respect them? Are they good people? Do they deserve it? Would you respect a 50year-old internet pedophile? I wouldn't.
Elders tend to think that just because they are older, they know more. They don't bother to reason out with younger people and end up just saying nonsense. Even how sensible your argument may be, they will always disagree and brush off whatever you say. They just blind themselves with pride and arrogance to the point that no one can get to them anymore. It's despicable.
I live with this a lot. For some reason, I feel like people really tend to think that I know nothing. People, especially teachers, often just never reason with me and just end conversations with them being supposedly right. Just self-proclaimed victory, though.
The world I want is a world where everyone has the right to be heard and reasoned with. People, especially the younger generation, should always be reasoned with. They deserve sensible arguments and conversations. If they are right, they should have the right to now and the right to have their way. And when they are wrong, they should have the right to know exactly why they are wrong in full detail. If they live life doing and believing certain things without knowing exactly what the reason is behind these certain things, they'll grow up stupid and arrogant. Just like the older generation today. Stupid and arrogant. STUPID. AND. ARROGANT.
I guess that would be all for today.
Some part of me actually hopes that this reaches
the school and I get in trouble.
At least then I would be heard out.
And just like almost every of my posts:
I hope a lot of people get offended by this.
That way they'll see their wrongs.
Side note: Teachers aren't the only examples of this horrible reality.
A teacher is the best example because my buddies are
probably the only ones reading this, and they're students like me.
They can relate.
Not all teachers though.
Just most.
Yes, most.
